OCTOBER 2015 | NEW YORK CONFERENCE 24 NEW YORK CONFERENCE OCTOBER 2015 – NEW YORK UNIVERSITY – SCHOOL OF LAW More than 400 people from across the nation gathered at NYU Law School’s Tishman Auditorium to engage in an insightful and inspiring conference dedicated to empowering Iranian American women leaders. The conference was filled with wisdom from our moderators and powerful stories from our speakers. Between sessions, we acknowledged the contributions of our conference sponsors and acknowledged the Iranian women who blazed the trail before us. Facilitated by graceful Mistress of Ceremonies Asieh Namdar, the conference touched upon narratives of struggle, overcoming adversity, and triumph. Each session spoke to the diverse paths our speakers and moderators sought to navigate their lives and accomplish their goals. Attendees were moved by keynote speaker Parisa Khosravi, founder and president of Payam Global Strategies LLC, as she inspired attendees to find the courage and persistence to follow and realize their dreams. Sessions dedicated to defining your path to success, breaking taboos, celebrating rising stars, being the author of your own story, achieving success as Iranian American women in media, and leading like a woman left guests inspired to create their own success stories.
