The psychotherapist discussing sexual abuse, the first ever Iranian American judge, advocating for same sex marriage, the passionate mother speaking the truth about autism, and the brave woman discussing the impact of addiction on her life, have opened a significant dialogue in our community. They highlight their pain-points in order to raise public awareness and share how they became the voice of many individuals challenged in a similar way.

In this session, you will hear the insights and personal stories of triumph and adversity from four inspiring Iranian-American women who have either made a powerful impact in judicial system upholding high standards under the US constitution or have been the long time advocate who flights for justice.

Be the Change: Changing the World One Action at a Time
These three philanthropic women have each been committed to improving our worldly welfare in their own unique way. They will discuss how they were inspired to dedicate themselves to changing their communities by their contributions to the lives of artists, children, and even animals. Through sharing their narratives, they will reveal the reason behind their commitment to philanthropy and the importance of giving back to our community and beyond.

In this session, two powerful women, the first female U.S. ambassador to Sweden, and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs discuss the importance of engagement in public service as a medium to share our voice. Being from two different political parties, they shine light on focusing on commonalities rather than differences.

We are celebrating some of the rising stars in our community who represent the young generation of Iranian American women. They will speak to the importance of understanding this generation and how best to hire, engage, retain, and communicate with this important tier of the workforce.

Feminism has had different connotations for different people in different eras. In this panel discussion we will explore social, cultural,  & political engagement through feminism in art and address some of the major issues still faced by women in the art world and touch upon the role of wider culture and also of immigration on feminism in the context of art.

Rising Through Every Descent: Choosing a Right Mindset
The panelists on this session each have overcome major adversities. Losses that caused them to reimagine their lives. Each started a journey after the descent that brought their world to a halt stop. Suffering through loss of wealth, health, and happiness, they each reimagined their lives. They will share with you their wisdom based on their personal journey for overcoming fears, letting go, thinking different and triumphing a new beginning.
