Samira Nikaein is a criminal defense and family law attorney in Santa Clara County. She received her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from University of California at Davis followed by a Jurist Doctor in Law from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. She started her own practice in 2002 after working for an AV Rated Law Firm in Walnut Creek, practicing Construction Defect. She is a member of California State Bar, Santa Clara Bar Association, Iranian American Bar Association and American Inns of Court. She was one of the founders of the Northern California Iranian American Bar Associations Chapter in 2005. She also served as a Director of IABA. She got appointed as a Court Child Advocate for Santa Clara County in 2009.
She is also very active in the community. She has been invited as a guest speakers for many different events including at Santa Clara County Family Court, Santa Clara Law School, International Association of Sufism, and Maitri Women Organization in Silicon Valley. She also has appeared in number of legal TV shows for Pars TV in the past.
She speaks English, Spanish and Farsi. She recently received a client distinction award from Martindale-Hubbell in 2015.
