Biography | Shila Vosough Ommi is an Iranian-American actress and producer, living in Los Angeles. After receiving her Bachelors of Science degree from UCLA in biological anthropology and biology, she graduated from a two year theater program from The Ruskin School of Acting where she studied under the tutorage of the award winning actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins. Since 2003, she has been touring internationally in plays written and directed by the contemporary Iranian playwright, Houshang Touzie, and has been co-producing and performing plays in Persian for Iranian audiences in the diaspora. She has had numerous public speaking engagements, and has appeared as Master of Ceremonies for Children’s Hope International Literacy and Development, Pars Equality Center, Solh Festival, and Bakhti Fest. She is also a comedienne and an aspiring playwright. |
