Shahrzad Varjoy was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to the United States when she was just 16 years old. She began working immediately, learning English as she went. Eventually she moved her way up to being a manager for multiple banks. She has consistently led the number one branch in her district while also being one of the most active participants in her bank’s charity and philanthropic roles. She is involved with Working Wardrobes, a charity focused on assisting domestic violence survivors. Recently, she has focused her efforts on homeless/houseless alleviation and aid. In both her professional and social circles, she aims to combine her work with her Iranian culture, often using cultural events as a means to educate others and foster harmony and understanding.
