Biography | Noosha Daha is a Los Angeles-based Marriage and Family Therapist. She is an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Noosha has had over 20 years of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in multiple settings. Additionally, Noosha serves as a Clinical Therapist for the Los Angeles County Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program. Before her position in Juvenile Justice, she stood as Program Coordinator at Mission Community Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program in Santa Clarita. Her education, training, and experience have provided the foundation for her clinical work, resulting in a deeper breadth and depth of understanding of the multitude of issues clients face. Noosha is skilled in accurately and thoroughly assessing, diagnosing, and planning effective treatments for her clients. Noosha is also experienced and skilled in Evidence-Based Techniques such as Trauma-Focused CBT, Seeking Safety, and Motivational Interviewing, all of which have been proven effective in the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Noosha offers individual, couple, family, and child therapy, as well as online therapy and home visits, depending on your unique situation. Noosha takes an existential and humanistic approach in her work with clients, drawing from a variety of techniques when appropriate, including evidence-based models. Noosha has an excellent reputation in the San Fernando community and has an extensive network for referral and collaboration with other professionals for psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing, drug treatment centers, inpatient and outpatient hospitalizations, and community-based programs. |
