Nazli Nadem is the co-founder and former CEO of HopHR, a tech talent engagement and recruitment company that focuses exclusively on the placement of Data scientists and Machine Learning engineers globally. Nazli grew up in a small, traditional town called Maragheh. Located in an unspoiled natural and mystical region of Iran, she developed a passion for personal and spiritual growth early in her life, influenced by her environment as well as numerous supportive and knowledgeable teachers. Alongside her husband and older son Ryan, Nazli came to the U.S. in 2012 at the age of 27 to pursue a master’s degree in Human Resources, which she received from Golden Gate University.

Along with her co-founder, HopHR was founded in 2016 after the birth of Nazli’s second son. Using their own personal savings, the partners bootstrapped the company and transformed it from a modest start-up to the multi-million-dollar business it is today. Throughout the past five years, HopHR has developed a robust network of vetted DS/ML talent, allowing Nazli and her team to support high-volume hiring for client companies such as Amazon, CVS Health, AstraZeneca, Toyota, Fujitsu, and various venture-backed startups.

Beyond her work with HopHR, Nazli is currently building Moon, an AI-powered marketplace for hiring female tech talent globally. With a vision to not only provide flexible and fulfilling career opportunities for women throughout the world, her mission is to also provide them with the training, supportive network, and coaching sessions they need to achieve their full economic potential while simultaneously increasing the advancement of women’s equality worldwide.
