Maryam Mujica works for Twitter’s Public Policy team based out of the company’s New York City location. In this role, Maryam has responsibility for a range of public policy issues including nonprofit / foundation outreach and all US-based international projects.

Prior to joining Twitter, Maryam worked in both policy and communication roles at the U.S. Department of State and the National Security Council at The White House. Before her work in public service, Maryam practiced law in San Francisco, California and worked in development at Stanford Law School.

Maryam is a graduate of Trinity College and Santa Clara University, where she received her undergraduate and law degrees, respectively. She also has a Master’s certificate in Public Administration from the University of Virginia. She speaks Spanish fluently and French and Farsi, conversationally.
