Mehrnoush Yazdanyar graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in
Political Science and a Minor in Near Eastern Languages. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Southern
California’s Law School. She has been a member of the California State Bar Association since 2005. She opened
her own private practice in 2009 and her firm currently has offices in Beverly Hills, Irvine, San Francisco, and
Sherman Oaks.
Her firm, Yazdanyar Law Offices, specializes in assisting clients nationwide to comply with and address issues
related to the sanctions programs administered by the Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control
(OFAC). Additionally, Ms. Yazdanyar has made it her firm’s priority to educate the general public on the
unintended negative impact of the Iran sanctions on the Iranian-American community.
