Mariam Jobrani has over 18 years of experience as a Producer on a variety of television programs, from PBS documentaries to network Reality shows. Her career began working on Beyond Wall Street and Educating Anner for PBS. Since 2001, she Produced a variety of non-fiction programs on CBS, ABC, FOX, MTV, A&E, TLC and Lifetime. In 2015 Mariam was nominated for a prime time Emmy for Undercover Boss.

Having emigrated from Iran in 1979, due to the Iranian Revolution, Mariam’s interest in world cultures and especially the roles women play in them, has been a life long interest. This was the inspiration for Sundance award winner, The Fighting Cholitas, a documentary short about indigenous, Bolivian, female wrestlers. Currently Mariam is finishing Everything Must Change, an intimate documentary about her journey reversing Stage 4 Breast Cancer.
