Mahnoz Jonmahmadova is an accomplished Multi-lingual journalist who holds master’s degrees in Journalism and in International Law. She has over a decade of progressive media experience in Central Asia and the United States, having served as the News Anchor, Senior Reporter, Producer, Radio and TV Broadcaster and Chief Editor of numerous radio and television programs. 

Her dream of becoming a journalist dates to childhood when she was curious about the world around her. She was attracted to journalism because it enables one to talk to people from all walks of life and be exposed to many ideas. She was further attracted to this field as she realized that journalists might be the people closest to the truth and reality. They play a vital role in the education of society.

Coming out of a country with very limited freedoms, Mahnoz is passionate about advancing such values as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and many other democratic principles. She is actively involved in human rights and international development activities around the globe.
