Biography | Layla Yarjani is an entrepreneur and humanitarian. She runs Operations at Little Bridge, a children’s technology-based media and immersive games-based learning start-up. She is also the Founder of NEXTGen London, the first chapter of professionals supporting Unicef in Europe. NEXTGen provides programmatic consulting, leads fundraising programmes, develops education initiatives, and advocates for children’s rights. It is being scaled across Europe with Unicef and committees in local geographies. Layla also advises refugee integration and entrepreneurial projects and has worked in the field. Most recently, she has been developing Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, a Syrian restaurant concept, alongside chef and Syrian refugee Imad Alarnab. Layla is passionate about improving lives through education, entrepreneurship and local economic development. She has diverse international experience having lived in the UK (currently), Iran, Spain, and several major US cities. |
