Dr Saber is the Deputy Director in the Division of Hematology Oncology Toxicology at the FDA, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. In this role she leads and coordinates scientific research, and takes the lead in policy/ guidance development. Due to her extensive regulatory and industry experience, Dr Saber served as a Subject Matter Expert assisting pharmaceutical companies worldwide in developing and marketing their drugs in the US. Dr Saber is recognized nationally and internationally for her efforts in establishing acceptable approaches in first-in-human dose selection for new classes of pharmaceuticals. She has authored numerous scientific articles and has been the recipient of multiple awards.
