Biography | Haleh Mahboubi Gabbay was born in Tehran Iran to Minoo and Behrouz Mahboubi in 1969. While she honors her roots always, Haleh believes we must grow with grace and purpose, wherever life may lead us. Haleh migrated to the United States in 1978 with her parents and two siblings where she attended Akiba Academy until transitioning to Westlake School For Girls. As she prepared to begin her senior year at Westlake in the summer of 1978, her academia was met with affection as she met her love and life partner, Dariush Gabbay. After a year together, Haleh and Dariush got married and continued to cultivate the seeds of their future.
