Golshifteh Farahani:Born in Tehran, Golshifteh Farahani is an Iranian actress and musician, and she began acting at the age of 6 in theater, going on to act in her first film (he Pear Tree,) 1998 at age 14 and receiving the Crystal Rock for Best Actress award from the international section of the 16th Fajr International Film Festival. Since then, she has acted in 25 movies with international recognition. She has worked with some of Irans most well-known directors and has received multiple awards, including Best Actress at the 37th Roshd International Film Festival. She is set to star in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017. Her musical career began underground in a rock band named Kooch Neshin, and she has continued to work in the music industry as well. Beyond her work in entertainment, she is actively involved in environmental endeavors and philanthropy.
