Farzaneh Roudi is the Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Program at the Population Reference Bureau (PRB) in Washington, DC. She joined PRB in 1987 and initiated the MENA Program in 2001, with the support of the Ford Foundation office in Cairo. Ms. Roudi is recognized as an authority on Middle East population matters and has lectured on these topics at the World Bank, academic institutions, and international conferences. She has a broad network of collaborators from the region and is author of a number of policy-oriented reports and articles on Middle East population and development issues. She has also been leading policy communication trainings conducted in the region in collaboration with local partners. Ms. Roudi is a board member and the Treasurer of the Persianate Gender Network.
