Prior to joining Pars, Ellie Clelland was a founding member and Program Director at Global Catalyst Foundation, a non-profit foundation that initiates and supports innovative technology projects worldwide to improve education and alleviate poverty. Ellie’s in-country project work includes South Africa, Tanzania, Namibia, Lebanon, Jordon, Israel, Palestine and Iran to evaluate and advise on funded programs.

Ellie has served on the board of New Global Citizens, and currently serves on the board of Support for Partners of Sustainable Development. Support for Partners of Sustainable Development supports advocates and raises awareness of the projects being implemented in the Middle East for youth, women and deprived communities.

Ellie is currently the Chair of the Refugee and Immigrant Forum of the Santa Clara County.

Ellie received a double major in Business Administration and Food Science from Utah State University.
