Biography | Elahe Izadi is a Washington, D.C.-based digital journalist currently writing for National Journal’s Influence Alley. Previously, she maintained DCentric, an NPR Project Argo blog at WAMU 88.5, where she filed original reports, curated content and managed the site’s social media presence. Elahe was part of the team that launched D.C.-area local news website TBD, and for several years worked as a community reporter for The Gazette, a subsidiary of Post Newsweek Media. Elahe holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in print journalism and African-American history from the University of Maryland. She has lived in Central America, worked on a Native American reservation and speaks Farsi and Spanish. Elahe is also a stand-up comedian. |
