Delli Mireskandari is the Associate General Counsel at Gap Inc., where she directs the legal and compliance affairs in Europe. She has an MA Joint Honors degree in French and Italian from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. As part of her degree, she spent a year at the prestigious Ecole du Louvre, Paris, studying history of art. Ms. Mireskandari subsequently obtained her law qualifications from the College of Law, Guildford, UK. Her legal career began with the international law firm Simmons & Simmons LLP in the City of London and she was seconded for a period of time to their offices in Milan, Italy. Subsequently, Ms. Mireskandari joined the legal department of Hasbro Inc (HAS), as part of the international division and spent a period of time based in Hong Kong managing the Europe legal work and overseeing the Asia Pacific legal work. In 2006, Ms. Mireskandari joined Gap Inc (GPS) to head up the Europe legal and compliance team and lead the company’s European expansion. In 2011, she transferred to the Company’s headquarters in San Francisco where she continues her responsibilities for Europe and has an increasingly international scope. Ms. Mireskandari has served on the board of various charities including the Rose Theatre, London and International Rescue Committee, San Francisco. Ms. Mireskandari speaks several languages, including French and Italian. She is an enthusiastic skier and enjoys hiking, yoga and tennis, reading and the arts.
