Biography | Bita Hamidi was born in Tehran, Iran to an Army nurse from Ghashghai’s tribe, and a successful businessman. From age 10, she had dreams to become a lawyer and an advocate for Women’s rights: assisting and educating women to rise above their cultural limitations. She even wrote an essay expressing her dreams when she was in the 5th grade. Bita was able to achieve one of her dreams at the age of 22 and started her life-long journey to serve women in advocating for equal rights under the law. As a young female lawyer and activist, she was part of the committee which advocated for and culminated in amending Iranian legislation pertaining to Divorce Laws in 1996 that allowed women to have the right to be granted a divorce in family court that had previously only belonged to men. In 1998, Bita had to leave Iran and migrated to Australia. There, She followed her passion for law and got involved in immigration matters, working at Alpha Pars Consultants in Sydney, which provided legal assistance to asylum seekers. She received a Service Appreciation Award from The Honorable Phillip Ruddock, Minister of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, in recognition of her dedicated and devoted work at detention Centers across Australia helping refugees. In 2008, Bita got married and moved to the United States. Unfortunately, She soon became a survivor of domestic violence. That experience left her with a burning desire to help other women to avoid the same circumstances. In her first position in the US, she introduced an HR and marketing concept to the company that brought that company to another level of success. In 2015, she realized that being an entrepreneur is what her heart longed for and sought a way to achieve her newfound dream. She assembled her past experiences with her dynamic personality, superlative work ethic, and amazing analytical skills; creating a systematic career in the financial industry with the goal of educating women to pursue financial freedom. Bita believes that knowing basic financial knowledge is the biggest gift one can receive. She is focused in helping both families from all walks of life and businesses to better understand where they are financially and to then be educated about where they want to be, and the path to take to create their financial roadmap. At the end of the day, Bita is always looking for business-minded individuals to join forces with her to help bring financial education to every household. |
