Ashley Dartnell, a long-time London resident, was born and raised in Iran and has written a book, Farangi Girl, about her experiences growing up as a westerner in Iran during the time of the Shah. Farangi Girl was published by Two Roads Books, an imprint of Hodder (a division of Hachette). Ashley is currently at work on her second book, a work of fiction set mostly in Iran post World War II and at the time of the 1979/80 Revolution.
