I graduated the University of San Diego in 2014 majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business Management. During that time I worked in IT, which escalated from customer service and computer repair to teaching instructional classes to professors. After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles, where I was the sales manager and web designer at LA Linen, a tablecloth manufacturer and best-selling company on Amazon. It was difficult to come in as a manager as the youngest individual in the office, but I learned how to balance professional self-confidence and modesty to collaborate with my co-workers. After several years, I realized that I loved working in a business, and wanted to work somewhere with a higher purpose. Since then, I have become a freelance consultant for non-profits exclusively, designing and publishing websites, directing media rebranding projects, managing databases, and streamlining office functions for over 5 non-profit companies. In Summer 2016 I will begin a dual masters program at Syracuse University for Public Administration (Non-Profit Management) & International Relations. The MPA program is continuously ranked #1 in the country, and I am excited to follow the opportunities I will find there.
