Ms. House serves as the Manager of the Pacific Sub Region covering the URS San Diego, Hawaii, and Guam Engineering and Construction operations. She also serves as the Regional Business Line Manager for the Southern California Region. As a registered civil engineer in California, she has served as the manager or principal in charge for numerous transportation projects in California for 28 years. Ms. House is a former President of WTS – an international organization advocating the advancement of women in the transportation industry. In November 2010, she was honored by the WTS Los Angeles Chapter as one of top 25 most influential women in the region’s transportation industry. Featured in the book “Changing Our World: True Stories of Women Engineers, Sybil E. Hatch, 2006”, Ms. House has been a strong advocate for increasing the role of women in the leadership of organizations. Ms. House graduated from California State University Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1982.
