Niloofar Rezvanpoor joined Department of State Hospitals in February of 2018 as a litigation attorney. At State Hospitals, Niloofar is providing legal advice to state mental hospital facilities on the challenges facing DSH including but not limited to patients care and treatment, DSH hospital facility licensing and accreditation, patient and employee privacy and any other legal functions related to the operation and administration of all DSH facilities.

Prior to joining DSH, Niloofar was working at State Compensation Insurance Fund representing interest of State Insurance Company in the workers’ compensation area. In addition, Niloofar was a contract attorney at the Orange County District Attorney’s office where she worked closely with District Attorneys in the insurance fraud unit to help detect the fraud schemes within the insurance industry.

Niloofar received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2014 and earned her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008.
