Niloufar (Nilou) Ghazi is the President/Owner of E3 Laboratories Inc. in Ontario, Canada. E3 Laboratories, established in 2002, provides environmental analytical testing for government, municipal and regional water and waste-water treatment plants as well as large industrial and Private clients. Nilou was born in Tehran, Iran in 1960. To pursue higher education, she moved to England in 1978. She received her Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College, London University and then moved to United States and obtained her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Washington State University. Nilou immigrated to Canada in 1990 and worked as a consultant engineer for 12 years before she started her own company. Her Laboratory is second largest lab in Ontario in terms of the number of Drinking Water samples received for microbiological analysis. In 2010, out of 52 laboratories in Ontario analyzing Drinking Water samples, her lab was recognized as “Excellent” by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for outstanding Quality Control/Quality Assurance. This is the first time that the Ontario Ministry of the Environment has ever recognized a laboratory for their excellence. Nilou lives in a small Town of Niagara-on-the-lake in Ontario, Canada. She has two daughters she raised as a single mother. Her daughters are both pursuing higher education in university.
