Dr. Homa Mahmoudi is involved in Executive Coaching and private practice in Los Angeles, California. Previously she was Chief Psychologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Department of Psychiatry for 14 years. She is the founder and Director of Transcultural Communications Center, a consulting/training institute specializing in cultural diversity. She practices Cognitive Behavior Therapy, cross-cultural management & executive development, strategies for better communication, and negotiation. She led community programs implementing an understanding between gang members and various racial groups after the 1992 LA riots. She lectures internationally and has conducted research on organizational behavior of women managers in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, China and Indonesia. Dr. Mahmoudi served as a speaker and delegate for women’s conferences in Moscow, Beijing, Uruguay, Helsinki, Berlin and the United States. Dr. Mahmoudi was a delegate to the 50th Anniversary Meeting of the U. N. Commission on the Status of Women in New York City. She has been recognized as “An Incredible Woman Making History”.
