Spring Love, a Prelude to Nowruz

The legendary Ziba Shirazi will be performing February 21 at the Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo. Members looking to upgrade their membership to the Empowered or Connected level will receive a free ticket to the concert. For more information on the foundation's memberships, click here.

Leading a Successful Career

A successful corporate attorney, a leading New York City architect and the president of a home care assistance company came together to discuss their career paths in life and the challenges and rewards that come with them.

Each speaker provided insights on how to be a leader and take charge of one's own career development, as an independent entrepreneur or an employee in a corporate setting. Attendees received valuable information on how to use their extraordinary talents and skills to accomplish career goals and to achieve success. It's taken more than one woman to crack the glass ceiling, and it will take all of us to eventually break it.

Iranian American Women's Leadership Conference: LA

By Nic Mora

This was a very special event to me not only because my amazing manager/best friend, Sali Kharazi was being honored on the 'Rising Star' panel, but also because I am an Iranian-American woman. To see such inspirational women speaking about their lives and sharing their stories was truly something I will never forget.

It was amazing to see Beverly Hills mayor, Lili Bosse, declare November 2nd "Iranian American Women Day" in Beverly Hills. I thought it was awesome that Iranian American women are starting to become recognized for their hard work, talents and determination.

Our Sincere Thanks to you!
